March was a big month for the Luvva stream; a BIG month indeed. March saw the biggest leap forward in viewership (still admittedly tiny) I’ve had since my return; it also marked my biggest concurrent viewership as well as my longest streaming time. It was very successful, and it got me Affiliate status on the 14th!! HUGE! Continue reading
Well folks,it finally happened and I cannot put into words how happy I am to report that SEGA have confirmed and announced that Shenmue 1 & 2 are coming to PS4, Xbox One And PC this year!
With this version of Backlog Blitz, I am determined now to fall below the standard that I set for myself last year – I have hit the stage where my baseline is now the number of games I completed last year. I do not (and will not) fail to better that number. The good news is that streaming has really boosted the number of games that I am playing to completion – even though I feel like I’ve done a lot already, I still have a heck of a way to go.

Here it is guys, the first update of my backlog challenge in 2018, if you remember I decided that there had be a slight rule change for my current gaming habits to contribute to the challenge and not dissuade me from playing the games I want to play. Continue reading
Sony dropped two bombshells last week; firstly, Bloodborne will be on PlayStation Plus in March and secondly that PlayStation 3 & VITA games will be dropped from the program in March 2019.
That news has split the community right down the middle and it has created several conspiracy theories as to why Sony would announce it a YEAR in advance. That’s not what games companies do – they are meant to announced something as a reaction to some outside stimulus and announce it as late as humanly possible.
The fact that they have broken the mold suggests that they have something else in the pipeline; presumably to be announced at E3 or possibly closer to March ’19.
Well, it’s happened again; I’m well behind the news – but we’ve not let it stop us before and we ain’t gonna start now!
Here’s what each service is offering for the month of March; spoiler alert (as if it is a spoiler at this stage) it’s a humdinger! Continue reading
