Last week I spent an article looking at the crappy PSOne platformers that I would least likely see get remakes/remasters in the current gen; but don’t you guys think that there is plenty negativity in gaming already? Wouldn’t you prefer to see some positivity instead?

Crash Bandicoot is a game that I have no nostalgia for; I played the games as a kid, mostly on demo discs, but I never really liked it; it looked good, but it was uninspired. Besides I was busy playing Syphon Filter and Resident Evil to really give a game like Crash Bandicoot any time of day.
The only game in the series that I have any fond memories of is Warped (aside from CTR); and the love for that game is so real that it formed the only reason why I, not only, purchased the N.Sane Trilogy but preordered it!
Once the game arrived on my doormat I decided to play through all the games in order and have a bloody good time doing it…

With all the rumours flying around (thanks Kotaku!) about a possible ‘Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Collection’ coming soon, it got me thinking, what is with the nostalgia for PSONE platformers? Let’s be honest here, the genre was a dime a dozen on the system and for every good one there were, at least, 3 terrible games!
