Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy IS a PlayStation exclusive (again)!

The great ‘Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy exclusivity debate just won’t quit!

Now it seems that; once again, it is a PlayStation 4 exclusive – this was confirmed by PlayStation UK (in fact it seems to have been confirmed by every major EU office of PlayStation over the last few days).

Yesterday I received an email from PlayStation UK titled “Playing now & Coming soon” – which contained games recently released and those pending. I read through the email and nothing seemed out of the ordinary; until this morning when I re-read it – something instantly jumped out at me……PlayStation UK has confirmed that The Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy is indeed a PlayStation exclusive title!
This has been a massive conversation all over the internet since the game was announced; many Xbox One owners were excited to be able to play the original Crash games on the system of choice. However a few months ago this dream seemed dashed on twitter when user @irishgamerman asked PlayStation Ireland if it was exclusive to the PS4 to which they responded;PlayStation then retracted that tweet with a “clarification”;…and the debate raged on!

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that this is definitely the case here (hell I’ve done that in two other posts – here & here) but all the evidence seems to be pointing towards this game being a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

I’ve never seen such a mess over the exclusivity status of a title before. Bonkers!
