My New Year Resolution

….apart from 1080p.

So ladies and gentlemen, now that Christmas is out of the way we have reached that point in the year where we all make pointless resolutions which we will all drop by January 2nd. What will mine be I hear you all eagerly ask? Will I join a gym and work out 20 times a week and end up looking like Dwayne Johnson? Probably not, but I have a little challenge for myself, let’s just use it as a resolution too!

Challenge Accepted

My resolution *drum roll* is to FINALLY get through my absolute shambles of a back log of games! If that wasn’t enough, I am going to do it before March 8th so I can delve fully into Ubisofts release of “The Divison”. And if even THAT wasn’t enough, I am going to try to stream the vast majority of it! Obviously, due to other life commitments I won’t be able to stream all of it but fear not my friends, I PROMISE you I will be live on twitch on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday EVERY week as we delve deep into this mess!

So what games do I have to pile through? Well, nothing says you mean business like some bullet points! Without further ado, here they are!

Playstation 4

  • Need For Speed (2015)
  • Just Cause 3
  • Grim Fandango Remastered
  • Batman Arkham Knight
  • Uncharted : The Nathan Drake Collection
  • Shadow of Mordor
  • Disney Infinity 3.0 (Star Wars Play set)
  • Borderlands : The Handsome Collection (Mainly The Pre-Sequel)

Wii U

  • Lego : Jurassic Park
  • Yoshis Woolly World

To further document how I get on, I will try and post a short review for each game – although a few may fall from the wayside if they are absolutely rubbish and waste enough of my time playing never mind having to write about them! How about that for a magic trick Luvva?!

12Games, 3 Months (kind of) – 1 Man! LET’S DO THIS

Happy new year to all you guys, keep safe and we will see you on the other side!

  1. I completely agree with you on the resolution thing. If you wait until the the next year to promise yourself to do something you feel you should have already begun doing, you’re issue isn’t what you think it is.

Still, I have promised myself to do one thing. It’s the first thing I plan on doing in the new year. I will delete my Facebook account. I can’t think of a better way to start the new year. I created my account at the behest of another (actually it was more like justified shaming) and unfortunately the reason for having the account is no longer relevant. Besides, I have watched Facebook go from mediocre to bad to worst over the last five years, and some of my friends with it. I’ve had enough.

Other than that, I have no idea what 2016 has in store for me. I’ll likely have the same job I’ve had for 15 years. I’ll drive the same car. I’ll live in the same house. I’ll have the same significant other. Stability: it’s greatly overrated. 😉

Have a very happy (and safe) New Year!
