What a quick week! Sunday has rolled round once more and that means it’s time for another MrLuvva’s Luv-in!!
For those who are unaware, this is my new weekly post that highlights blogs and posts that I have enjoyed reading over the past week.
The hope is to draw attention to those that deserve it…for the community! Here’s the posts that I’ve enjoyed this week!
Dropping Dead Weight – From the creative minds over at What’s your tag. A genius cartoon in which they…lament(?) the death of Playstation Mobile; yeah me neither. It made me lol so it deserves a mention in my second luv-in!
Sixteen Candles: EverQuest, NeverWinter – From Bhagpuss over at Inventory Full. I actually found this post through TAGN (The Ancient Gaming Noob) and boy am I glad I did! It is always nice to reminisce about the MMORPGs we used to play and Bhagpuss has created an ode to Everquest that is well worth a read!
The impatience of players – is it hurting the story setup? – From Mordant gamer over at his blog that I only came across this week, but I’ve no idea how a blog of this quality was so elusive for so long. In this post he examines the players need to skip cut scenes to get to the game and the damage it does to games storytelling.
Focus (2015) – From Thycriticman over at his blog. Not video game related but I love reading his reviews as they are usually humourous and he has a taste similar to mine, the reason I’m highlighting this movie review is because it is extremely well written!
The lost moments of cartridges – from over at Games I made my girlfriend play. In this they examine the cartridges and the games saved to them…it’s an intirguing piece about something I’ve never thought of before, someone, somewhere is potentially playing a saved game of mine from back in the day…
#DearMe: Its gonna be alright – From over at TheGamerKeith! I really liked this idea of a video post – its honest and touching content makes it worthy of a watch! Make sure you do!
