In our last blog post of the year – we finish our Christmas celebrations (BOO HISS!) MrJohnSherry has chosen his favourite Christmas gaming memory – once more we want to thank all of our readers for supporting us this year and we wish you all a very happy New Year.
Friday begins our discussions about our favourite game this year (our GOTY if you will) MrLuvvaLuvva will be choosing his favourite 3, Tuesday (because well be reverting back to our usual post days) will see MrJohnSherry choose and explain his 3 favourites.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,600 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

My favourite gaming memory comes from the Christmas of 1995.
1995 the year that the world was introduced to a cowboy who befriended a spaceman, Brad Pitt found his wife’s head in a box (SPOILER!) and we found out that the thing Batman was missing was Batnipples!
It was a glorious year and as an avid SEGA gamer (growing up on a steady diet of Master System and MegaDrive games) there was only one gift I wanted from the fatman, a SEGA Saturn! It was literally the only gift I asked for that year.
Dear Santa…I NEED a Saturn…that is all!
This is what I wanted to see come December 25th
Just because Christmas has come doesn’t mean we’re stopping our march forward with posts and streams – this week has seen us near the finish line of Christmas 2014 posts and Boxing Day saw us begin our short series of favourite Christmas gaming memories (thanks for the submission Xcellante!) – which will continue until New Years – afterwards we will be discussing our game of the year choices for your entertainment!
When the new year comes we will be implementing some new initiatives to make the blog even better!
Happy New Year guys!
SEASON GREETINGS readers of this huge and overly popular blog (or so I’m told) created, edited and presented to you by the good folks of LuvvaLuvva Towers. Every so often Mr Double L (that’s his bra size) lets me loose from my basement prison to either rub my proverbial nose into his newest console or latest game release before tricking me to clean my nose with a chloroform soaked tissue, securing the ankle shackle, throwing me a year’s supply of bread and fix the faulty faucet before slamming the door shut.
He seems to get me every time with that, don’t you Double L?
Merry Christmas readers! Have an awesome e-card as an extra present (on top of this post) Tomorrow (Boxing Day) will see the start of our series of reader Christmas memories and the New Year will see MrJohnSherry and I discuss our game of the year.
Exciting times over the next week and a bit! Enjoy your turkey, sweets and mince pies but most of all – enjoy your Christmas.
Hopefully Santa will give you everything you want and that at least one gift is a video game. Presumably everyone will have family visiting tomorrow and this means that your gaming time will be severely limited for fear of being “anti-social”!
Fear not dear reader!
There is an easy way of getting around this is by whipping out those local multiplayer titles that allow you to sociable while still partaking in that gaming goodness!
Here’s a few titles you should be playing tomorrow with granny, granddad, niece, nephew, son, daughter or wife – anyone who darkens your door should be given a controller and sat in front of the TV to play!
