I can’t believe I missed the announcement of this! So I apologise for the delay!
The battle for the best value monthly subscription continues into May and like PS Plus; Games with Gold has been very, very good this year. However, May looks like a weaker month with one cracker and 3 games that are above average collectively and individually – that’s not to say that there isn’t fun to be had with these titles though, because there most definitely is.
Here they are though; May’s Games with Gold offerings.
May 1st – 15th sees Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams on Xbox One and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 one Xbox One and 360 respectively. Giana Sister’s is meant to be an absolutely cracking platformer with a unique twist – while Star Wars is an above average third person action game set in the titular universe.
May 16th – 31st sees Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on the One and 360. Both these games are solid 7/10 games that are much more fun with friends than they are alone. Both are worth playing though – especially for free!
Overall it’s a solid if unremarkable month!

Not the best offerings they’ve ever had, but I’ll certainly give Giana Sisters a try.
